Natural beauty is captivating, isn’t it? A beautiful glow both inside out and healthy-looking skin is what we all seek. Every girl in this world wants to look and feel pretty. Each one of us wants to have smooth and flawless skin. Some people naturally have it, but for some, it’s a goal to achieve! I have always been a person who takes immense care of my skin, hair, and body. I take proper sleep, nutritious food, and exercise. I also have a definite morning and night skincare routine. But having a hectic schedule and the complexities of modern life, pollution, at times stress and workload take away the consistency of my healthy routine. All of this takes a toll on my skin health, leading to dehydration, pigmentation, and many such skin problems that no one wants to have even in their wildest dreams! And let’s face it, that we all face this! So here I am, sharing with this blog some quick skincare tips to have a naturally healthy skin. Some tricks that you can follow to take care of your skin. Let’s Begin.
6 Quick Skincare Tips:
Know Your Skin Type
The first step towards good skin is to know your skin. It’s important to know the type and the natural balance of your skin. Whether your skin is normal, dry, sensitive, or oily, whether it is reactive to something or not. It is important to know how it changes through the seasons. When you listen to your skin, you become more aware of its needs and accordingly you can work on prettifying it.
Get into a Routine
A skin and hair care routine is a must. Period.Want to have a charismatic skin? Firstly follow and stick to the CTM routine strictly, no matter what type of skin you have. It’s beneficial to provide the right ingredients to your skin. This can be attained by following these simple steps:
First Cleanse your face. Had a long hard day or a stressful time at work, no excuse accepted! Make it an everyday compulsion to wash your face as soon as you are home. Exfoliation is the key, trust me. Draw out that stubborn dirt sticking to your face and give your skin some time to breathe.
Next step, Tone it up.
After exfoliation, use a toner that suits your skin type. Toning your face helps in restoring the pH balance of your skin. It protects your skin and revitalizes it, making it look youthful and smooth.
The Final step, Moisturize.
At last, add a layer of a light-weight moisturizer that has sunscreen in it. Wear it in your daytime and nighttime. Also, you can use a night-serum at night, this will work wonders for your skin.
I can’t stress enough about how vital a routine is for healthy skin. So have a beauty regime and make sure you do it every day, after you shower and at night before you are off to bed.
Take Health-Conscious Diet
“What you eat is what you are.” It’s one of the oldest sayings and it stands true till this date. A healthy diet is all it takes. Yes, always eat keeping your skin in mind. Right eating will bring-out the natural glow of your skin and will improve your skin texture. Eating junk or having a diet full of oily, spicy food, and sugar will do no good for your health. These things are bound to give you acne/pimples and really going to take away the charm of your skin. So, let’s start eating right. Include more veggies in your diet like sweet potatoes, avocados, sprouts, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, and spinach. I have included them in my daily diet and I am immensely enjoying the way my skin feels now.
Increase Your Liquid Intake
Drinking loads of water is good for health. How many times have we heard this from doctors, friends, and family? Sure it is good for health, but it is great for your skin. Intaking liquids can really help in purifying your skin, keeping it in good condition. At least 2-3 liters of water every day will make your skin healthier, more hydrated and dewier. I would personally recommend a lot of juices like beetroot, apple, orange. They are super healthy, tasty, and keep the skin in the best shape.
Exercise to Stay Fit
Exercising, doing yoga and meditation can change the way your body and skin feel. A good exercise routine will show you results right away. Doing cardio exercises like cycling, running, jogging will make you sweat and get the blood circulation going. A few weights, squats, lunges will keep your muscles toned, your mind and body at peace and ease, and your skin fresh and radiant.
Beauty Products are only Enhancers
Nowadays, everybody seems to be obsessed with makeup. Don’t get me wrong, even I love makeup but not more than the glowing, dewy effect that it leaves. I personally do not believe in indulging too much into it. Tonnes and tonnes of makeup aren’t good for the skin. I have realized that these concealers and wonderful highlighters are just enhancers and can be of no use if the skin that we live-in isn’t taken care of. Ergo, stop relying on the best beauty products that are available out there and start giving your skin the natural nourishment it requires.
“Beautiful skin requires commitment, not a miracle.” – Erno Laszlo got us all while stating this. Having a healthy skin is very important and to achieve that, you need to have a proper skincare routine. How you take care of your skin shows how you take care of your overall health. If you have healthy skin, that means you have a healthy mind and body. It’s a multifaceted approach but believe me, it works. Lifestyle and skincare go hand in hand. A good lifestyle will lead you to have wonderful skin. So, follow these skincare tips and don’t forget, skincare routine, sleep, smile, and repeat.
Hope this helps all of you’ll. Let’s glow inside out.
